Lancaster Theological Seminary is a richly diverse and dynamic graduate school of theology located in the historic city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Affiliated with the United Church of Christ, our campus is home to an engaged community of students and faculty from many Christian traditions and backgrounds. Our mission is to educate and strengthen Christian leaders for congregations and other vocations serving church and society.

Lancaster Theological Seminary maintains an environment where students are both encouraged and challenged in their beliefs, and where each student’s path toward spiritual formation is nurtured. Students have meaningful access to our renowned faculty and build lasting bonds with their peers as they learn, worship, and grow together.

Our programs are designed to integrate intellectual, spiritual, and vocational learning. Interaction with local and global communities of faith throughout the course of study grounds this process in real-world contexts.

One Review

  1. Small, friendly community of students. Scholarly faculty and rigorous academics. Very diverse student body – ages, race/national origin, denominations. Open and affirming. Buildings could use renovation. Lacks handicapped accessability.
