  1. I received my Master of Divinity from Emmanuel in ’02. The friendships I made with fellow students and faculty have been for life. The classes are rigorous, but prepare you for a lifetime of ministry. Emmanuel doesn’t indoctrinate you into a way of thinking, rather equips students with the ability to seek out answers and critically think about issues. Students leave Emmanuel well equipped for the challenges of ministry and able to stay in ministry as they navigate those challenges.

  2. Emmanuel is a surprising gem in the seminary realm. Although Emmanuel is certainly small when compared to other seminaries, the caliber of academic achievement garnered by Emmanuel’s small faculty is greater than most seminaries are able to boast. As such, many of the classes offered at Emmanuel by professors such as Dr. Rollston, Dr. Blowers, Dr. Perkins, and others are academically challenging.
The greatest strength of Emmanuel, though, is that faculty and staff are pastorally minded toward their students. They show a desire to watch their students grow spiritually, not just academically. As a transfer student from another seminary, I am qualified to testify to you that this strength is not shared by many seminaries.
In conclusion, I highly recommend your consideration of Emmanuel Christian Seminary, especially if you desire to grow in your faith – both spiritually and academically.
