Bethel University has been a leader and model in Christian higher education since 1871. For generations, our fusion of evangelical faith with top-ranked academics has transformed women and men, preparing them for unique callings in the kingdom of God.

With more than 100 academic programs in 2 colleges, a grad school, and a seminary, we’re one of the most comprehensive, interdenominational Christian universities in the nation. Our main campus, in the heart of the Twin Cities metro, gives us quick access to service projects, internships, churches, ministry organizations, and tons of local entertainment.

Everything we do at Bethel is guided by our core values, rooted in Scripture. We are Christ-followers, character-builders, truth-seekers, learners, salt and light, reconcilers, and world-changers.

We are, above all, a community—serving and encouraging one another toward our individual potential. Working together in Christ’s name, we become personally transformed so that we can transform our world.

  1. I’m in the InMinistry program just finishing my M-Div. What I like most about Bethel is their focus on making you “whole and holy”. The most critical thing to success in the ministry is your own faith and character and Bethel truly seeks to develop you as a whole person and not just feed you information.

The InMinistry program allows me to integrate every class into my ministry setting, with really flexible assignments which I have often used to bless my church with detailed studies of things which needed studying. Yes, it is expensive, but I believe it is worth every penny. I am MUCH better prepared to lead a church than I was 4 years ago.

  2. I’m a current student in Bethel’s Inministry program for Children and Family Ministry. I’m working at a church as youth minister across the country and I love the program so far. Being able to work in ministry full-time and pursue an accreditated degree has been amazing. The faculity understands that being a full-time minister at a church and student can be demanding. The school has been flexible and I’ve already been able to use a large portion of my classes in the student ministry at my current church. If you’re looking for a great school for distance students check out Bethel.

    • Adam, I have just enrolled in the same program. I would love to hear more of your personal experience. If you email me I would love to talk with you.
