Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary serves the church as a learning community with an
Anabaptist vision, preparing followers of Jesus Christ to be leaders for God’s reconciling mission in the
world.

AMBS promotes disciplined study of Scripture, theology and ministry integrated with deep spiritual
growth. With emphasis on peace, justice and serving with others, we join in where God is at work in
the world. Worship, confession of faith and prayer are part of the daily life of the seminary community.

Accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, AMBS offers
master’s level degree programs in pastoral ministry, peace studies, Christian formation, mission and
evangelism, youth ministry, theology and ethics, pastoral care and counseling, worship, church history
and the teaching ministry of the church. Specific degrees offered are Master of Divinity, Master of
Arts: Theological Studies, Master of Arts: Peace Studies, and Master of Arts in Christian Formation.
In addition, AMBS works cooperatively with Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Mich., to offer dual
degree programs combining the MSW with AMBS’s M.Div. or M.A. in peace studies.

As a learning community, AMBS students and faculty seek to be present-day disciples. We
welcome Christians of all faith traditions and from all parts of the world as we prepare leaders who
communicate respectfully and confidently in cross-cultural, interracial and inter-religious contexts.
