  1. Very good school and I enjoyed my time studying in New Orleans. The faculty are wonderful and truly care about students and work with students to best prepare them for ministry. I have many great friends and mentors that came from this seminary, and I’m so thankful.

  2. Surely 5 stars!!♥

  3. NOBTS is a decent school provided that you attend Main Campus and not an extension center and do not wish to encounter any academic challenges. Their level of academic challenge is slightly below average graduate level work. In addition, their registrar department tends to mistreat extension center students on a regular basis. The largest issue with this seminary, however, is that NOBTS frequently solicits the opinion of the Student Body and then proceeds to ignore the results of their own study. If you are a Southern Baptist searching this site for information, I recommend Southern, South Eastern, or Golden Gate if you live in the West.

    • Thank-you NOBTS for your extension center network. I was continually challenged both with onsite instruction and compressed interactive video. Already on the church field, I was able to get my seminary degree without uprooting my family to move to New Orleans. Keep up the excellent instruction.

  4. New Orleans Seminary is AMAZING, especially for the value! SBC grad students pay $175 a credit hour, and with all my scholarships, it is almost totally covered. The professors are world class scholars that care deeply about students and practical ministry. I am a current student and I absolutely love the city and seminary that intentionally planted here to reach it. I recommend NOTBS with ZERO hesitation!

  5. The NOBTS has excellent learning and living facilities. Most of the professors care about you and your family and try their best to help you succeed. The main campus is very beautiful and safe.

  6. This school has had a HUGE impact on my life.

  7. NOBTS is a community of scholars & friends committed to excellence in every venue of life. I was blessed to sit under a distiguished group of faculty that took the time to intentionally invest in my spiritual development as well as my academic progress. You know you’re in a special place when the President & Provost remember your name.

  8. After looking into dozens of seminaries around the country, and seriously considering half a dozen, there was and is something very unique about NOBTS. There is a healthy combination of academic rigor and evangelistic passion on this campus. The faculty continually stive to offer a robust intellectual pursuit to students, while offering the praxis necessary for contemporary church ministry.

  9. I remember going to NOBTS after Katrina… This school is passionate about reaching people for Christ and has some of the most amazing professors. They will challenge you and invest in you like no where else I have ever seen.

  10. NOBTS is a blessing to all attend. I can not imagine my life or ministry without its influence on me. It’s a great place to learn, be disciples, and apply as the mission field is ripe and right outside our gates!

  11. Cannot imagine my life or my ministry without this blessed, wonderful place! The faculty members are gifted teachers, role models, and friends.

  12. LOVED this school! Great mix of academic rigor and passion for God. Very flexible class schedule, and a great place to be discipled as you get your degree!
