Founded in 1814, Bangor Theological Seminary is an ecumenical seminary in the Congregational tradition of the United Church of Christ and the only accredited graduate school of religion in northern New England.
With two campuses in Portland and Bangor, Maine, our Seminary is a vibrant center for the mind and spirit that offers extraordinary educational opportunities to our degree program candidates, as well as to others in the community who count themselves among the spiritually seeking and the intellectually curious.
